Ros Oxley

Ros has spent most of her business career in the events field and in 2013 received the award for Outstanding Contribution to the Conference Business.

Currently, in addition to her position as MD, Blenheim CEC, she is also a Non-Executive Director of on-line events company, Ivent, advising on the strategic direction and business development of this fast expanding company.

From 1985 to 2005, she was MD of IIR UK, starting when IIR was a fledgling business and was a key participant in its growth to the world’s largest conference business which was then sold to Informa in 2005.

Apart from growing a portfolio of events, she was also responsible for launching a banking training business, a focussed annuals business and a large scale events business, all of which became market leaders in their field. She was responsible for the acquisition of Adam Smith Conferences in 2004, part of the team involved with the sale of IIR in 2005 to the Informa Group plc for US$1.4 billion and involved in the acquisition of Infoline in 2007.
